**Description** **Position Title: Shipping and Receiving Administrator (evening shift)** **Department: Shipping and Receiving** **Location: 450 Desautels Street, Winnipeg, MB R2H 3E6** **About AGI** AGI is a global food-based infrastructure company. Westeel’s comprehensive catalogue of products includes on-farm and commercial grain handling and storage solutions for today’s agricultural industry, as well as storage and containment systems to meet the needs of the petroleum, water and industrial sectors. **The Opportunity** The Shipping and Receiving Administrator will ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner. The shift timings are **4:00 PM - 12:30 AM.** **The Team** The role will report to the Warehouse Logistics Manager. **Responsibilities** + Communicate shipping information to customers as required. + Communicate with Customer Service on customer deliveries. + Fill out paperwork, including invoices, bills of lading, customs papers, waybills, etc. + Ensure that all information required for month-end is processed in a timely manner. + Establish and maintains good customer relations. + Track shipping performance and cost savings. + Follow shipping schedule and distributing to affected personnel. + Handle freight claims as required. + Input purchase order receiving information into the ERP system. + Scan hardcopy of receiving documents, PO, and upload into ERP system. + Generate NCR’s for nonconforming material and updates NCR tracking system when receiver activity assignments are complete. + Schedule local pickups and deliveries with local driver. + Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies. + Fill out and submits purchase requisitions for department supplies. + Contact purchasing to update purchase order information as required. + Coordinate inspection activities with inspector in accordance with specified receiving procedures. + Order lumber and other shipping supplies, as per established purchasing procedure. + Train new employees. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. + Ability to work the **4:00 PM - 12:30 AM** shift + Forklift experience is mandatory. + 3 to 5 years related experience is an asset. + Post secondary education is an asset. + Enrolment in CITT/PLog designation an asset. + Well versed in Microsoft office suite of products. + SAP knowledge is an asset but not a requirement + Knowledge of ISO procedures an asset. + Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. + Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of details and tasks quickly and effectively. + Good judgement/problem solving ability along with strong customer service and relationship building skills. + Able to work independently. + Ability to maintain records and keep track of all areas of responsibility. + Able to work flexible shifts. + Collaborative team player. **Why AGI?** We’re leading the way in global food supply chain solutions and here’s how: We’re the leading global expert in providing farmers, processors and commercial customers with the right equipment and customized engineering solutions to produce, protect and deliver the world’s grain, fertilizer, seed, feed and food supplies. Dedicated to safety, innovation and customization, AGI offers one of the largest catalogs of equipment and full-service planning and engineering services for the storage, blending, mixing, conveying, conditioning, and processing of agricultural products worldwide.
