Join our dynamic Accounting Outsourcing team in Athens, where we partner with diverse clients spanning industries such as high-tech, banking, pharmaceuticals, retail, private equity, automotive, media & entertainment, and energy. Our team delivers comprehensive finance and accounting outsourcing solutions for businesses of all sizes. 

Currently, we are looking for a professional to join our Accounting Outsourcing team, which specializes in the shipping industry, in Athens.  
 

Please note that the working model for this position is flexible and may be hybrid or on-site, depending on the client's needs.   

Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team 

Manage accounting, finance, and tax compliance services for shipping clients, overseeing the entire accounting process

Participate in the preparation of the statutory financial statements under IFRS  

Manage payables and receivables, specifically dealing with agents, suppliers, and other shipping partners 

Participation in revenue recognition, including Time Charter agreements and voyage agreements

Participate in the preparation and review of the corporate tax returns (VAT, Withholding tax and other industry-specific tax obligations)

Have responsibility of the bookkeeping and the financial reporting to clients’ management  

Advise clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements  

What we are looking for

One (1) to two (2) years of professional experience in a relevant role 

Previous experience in a shipping company will be considered an asset  

Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign top-tier university  

Strong knowledge of Greek tax and accounting regulations, with an emphasis on shipping-specific legislation (e.g., Law 89). will be considered an asset  

Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters  

Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English and Greek)  

Building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders to build trust  

A high level of discretion and confidentiality with a strong sense of responsibility  

Military services fulfilled for male candidates
