Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a Shipper Receiver, In this role you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the shipping and receiving department is operating efficiently. Responsibilities include loading and unloading the shipping area, maintaining a clean work environment and assisting with various projects. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant.  Bring your expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. The shift time is 1st Shift from Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 5:00pm as well as Fridays from 7:00am – 3:00pm EST. This position has an hourly rate starting at $21.00 per hour. Apply now to be part of a great team!

What You’ll Be Doing

Safely operate a standup counterbalance forklift with accuracy, precision, speed, and minimum supervision Shipping, receiving, and order picking at the warehouse Must be able to get along with and work well with others Lifting boxes and pails with pool materials Reading pick list and completing TDG training Checking and double-checking accuracy of orders and items Work independently and as a team to complete goals and tasks

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 3 years of experience operating a standup counterbalance forklift and have valid forklift license Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Strong command of the English language (written and verbal) Must have basic math skills Must be able to work OT and weekends when required Able to safely operate a forklift and must pass an internal safety evaluation test 

Physical Capabilities

Occasionally exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force (up to 1/3 of the time).Frequently applying 10 to 25 pounds of force (from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time).Constantly exerting greater than negligible force, up to 10 pounds (2/3 or more of the time) for moving objects.Must have the ability to perform the following: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Seeing, Hearing
