About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our operations team at the Chrome Wash Plant. In this role, you will oversee all plant activities during your shift, ensuring safety, efficiency, and production targets are achieved. Your Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the plant team during your shift Ensure smooth operation of chrome processing circuits (DMS, spirals, screening) Monitor production output and ensure targets are met Enforce safety and environmental compliance on shift Perform equipment and area inspections; report any faults or incidents Complete shift handovers and accurate daily production reports Support and train junior staff and plant operators Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime What We’re Looking For: National Certificate or Diploma in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or related field 3+ years’ experience in mineral processing (preferably chrome) 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-leading role Strong knowledge of plant operations and safety protocols Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays Ready to lead from the front?
