Shift Supervisor

Eli Lilly Italia is looking for a Shift Supervisor to join one of its production departments (Packaging, Formulation, Filling, Visual Inspection) at the Sesto Fiorentino (FI) plant.

The resource will report directly to the Operations Manager of the reference area and will be responsible for managing a team of pharmaceutical operators on the production lines, collaborating daily with the cross-functional team to ensure compliance with quality, production, and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Coordinate production activities within the assigned team, ensuring the execution of production plans and responding promptly to any issues.

Monitor, verify, and approve process operations recorded in the documents.

Ensure compliance with GMP standards, dressing procedures, data integrity, and process operating procedures.

Participate in the development of production plans.

Promote and enforce safety and environmental protection regulations, ensuring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Conduct investigations into process deviations and prepare the necessary reports.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and quality.

Manage and oversee the training of new team members, ensuring proper onboarding and integration of new employees within the department.

Actively participate in performance evaluation processes, fostering a collaborative work environment in line with corporate values.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (Engineering, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields).

English language proficiency (minimum B2 level).

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.

Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach.

Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills

Previous experience in a similar role within structured corporate environments.

Availability to work on shift schedules, including night shifts.
