Description:
Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a Shift Foreman to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. The Shift Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers in a specific shift, ensuring safety, productivity, and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team on assigned shifts. Train and develop team members. Resolve conflicts and handle grievances. Oversee daily operations and ensure production targets are met. Coordinate with other departments for workflow efficiency. Monitor and optimize resource usage. Enforce health and safety regulations. Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments. Report and investigate safety incidents.

Requirements:

Grade 12 N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies Trade Test Certificate (Boilermaker or Fitter) 5 years’ experience in the mining industry. 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role. Valid driver’s license
