Hire Resolve’s client in the mining industry is seeking a SHERQ Officer to join their team in Kathu, Northern Cape. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, risk, and quality standards.
Responsibilities: Conduct regular legal compliance checks, audits, and monitoring to prevent accidents and non-conformance Assist in updating, implementing, and maintaining SHERQ systems and procedures to ensure compliance Perform inspections, investigations, risk assessments, and control measures Handle planning, organizing, and administrative tasks related to SHERQ Analyze and report on SHERQ performance Requirements: Grade 12 COMSOC 1&2 or SAMTRAC certification National Diploma in Safety/Risk Management Surface Blasting Certificate RCAT/ICAM Certificate 5 years of experience in a plant mining environment Benefits: Salary: R700K/yr – R900K/yr Family Leave (if applicable) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or by emailing your CV to mining@hireresolve.za.com
