Key Responsibilities: Consolidate group-wide SHEQ reporting and present actionable insights to executive leadership. Provide clear SHEQ direction and support to Safety Departments and Site Managers. Ensure full compliance with DMR and Mine Health & Safety Act requirements. Oversee Injury on Duty (IOD) case management and drive corrective action plans. Manage intra-medicals and periodic Certificates of Fitness across the group. Enforce and monitor environmental compliance and site-specific environmental plans. Standardize and uphold ISO-related quality assurance systems and procedures. Be available to travel frequently on short notice to operational sites. Requirements: Degree or diploma in Safety Management, Environmental Sciences, or similar. 8+ years’ SHEQ experience in the mining or heavy industrial sector. Strong command of DMR legislation and regulatory frameworks. Proven leadership in managing health programs and environmental compliance. Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
