POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs essential tasks involving the fabrication, installation, and repair of sheet metal products required in the construction and renovation of family housing units. The incumbent must exercise good interpersonal and technical skills while adhering to required safety standards and building codes.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings.Follows blueprints, building plans, and sketches to meet the needs of clients.Measures, cuts, and shapes sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as shears, brakes, and presses.Installs and secures sheet metal products using screws, rivets, solder, and welding equipment.Adheres to safety regulations.Inspects and maintains tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.Collaborates with other construction professionals, including laborers, carpenters, and plumbers, to ensure project requirements are met.Assists in coordinating specific project schedules by working with other sheet metal workers, laborers, and required construction resources. Reviews and verifies materials to ensure conformance to project drawings and specifications.KEY RELATIONSHIPS

8+ years of related work experience in sheet metal work, including fabrication, installation, and repair.SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of sheet metal tools and equipmentAccuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and clarity in conformance with drawing, specifications, and safety standards.Physical Requirements:
Physically must be able to lift up to 75 pounds to overhead position.Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Able to work dayshift or nightshift. Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather condition. Ability to Relocate: Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
