Job Scope:
Select types of sheet metal according to building or design plansMeasure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheetsDrill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivetsInstall metal sheets with supportive frameworksFabricate or alter parts at construction sitesManeuver and anchor large sheet metal partsFasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or solderingSheet metal workers use pieces of thin steel, aluminum, or other alloyed metal in both manufacturing and construction. Sheet metal products include heating and air conditioning ducts, rain gutters, outdoor signs, and siding.Requirements:
