Sharpener

A leading company in manufacturing and distribution in Missoula is hiring a long-term, full-time Sharpener. This is an ideal opportunity to start in an entry-level position in a dynamic work environment that offers career growth and benefits.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass produce instruments to be used by hand Use grinder and/or sharpening machine to sharpen steel tips to specific design specifications Meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards Learn instruments and related product lines Learn and apply quality processes and procedures Become familiar with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 months of similar job experience is a plus Able to speak and read English Math and reasoning skills Ability to sit for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs. Keen attention to detail Excellent hand/eye coordination and good manual dexterity Team player and strong work ethic Ability to work under deadlines
