We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
Working as a Infrastructure SME for Microsoft SharePoint 2019 (on premise) and other collaboration products.Collaborate closely with product owner to define collaboration products roadmaps and keep other areas of HSBC informed about the technological infrastructure capabilities. Support the collaboration infrastructure and large-scale projects (such as migration / upgrade to new product version like SharePoint 2019/Subscription Edition, infrastructure, and capacity management).Identify operational activities and automate the process with DevOps engineers, support initiatives aimed at IT optimization cost reduction, increase user productivity security, support business growth or meet regulatory requirements.Performing maintenance of the Windows and Linux infrastructure, services, and networks. Leading processes like upgrades, patching, rebooting.Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions. Ensure that any incidents arising due to system, application or human failure causing disruption of service to customers is escalated to the relevant department in a timely manner.Perform capacity planning and setup a process for clean-ups, backup-restore and data archival. Ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting are in place across infrastructure, applications, and services.Accountability for delivery – takes ownership of the products assigned, manage projects backlogs and lead to deliverySome careers shine brighter than others.
