Matric / NQF 4/Diploma or equivalent level of education At least 3 years’ experience in repairing and maintaining sewing machines Thorough knowledge of high post machines, flat machines, twin and single needle machines as well as eyelet machines Responsible for conducting sewing machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and performing preventative maintenance Minimising amount of down-time due to faults and breakdowns Maximising productivity through scheduled preventative maintenance Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance service of production equipment Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs Performs technical skills including, but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines Performs other related duties as required and or assigned by the Factory Manager Able to communicate clearly and effectively Superior problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV IN A WORD FORMAT INCLUDING A PHOTO.
