Hire Resolve’s client are looking for a skilled Setter to join our plastics manufacturing team in Cape Town. The Setter will be responsible for setting up and operating plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plastics processing and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
– Setting up and operating plastic injection molding machines
– Loading and unloading molds and materials
– Monitoring machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
– Making adjustments to machine settings as needed
– Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machine operation
– Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
– Performing routine maintenance on equipment
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Setter in a plastics manufacturing environment
– Knowledge of plastics processing techniques and materials
– Strong mechanical aptitude
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
– Excellent attention to detail
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet production deadlines
– Good communication and teamwork skills
