**Job Title: Set-Up Technician**
**Job Description**
We are a plastics company that supports the food and beverage industry by manufacturing plastic containers such as to-go containers, custom packaging for food manufacturers, fruit and veggie trays, and pie pans through an extrusion and forming process. As a Set-Up Technician, you will be responsible for replacing and maintaining the dies based on the products being run.
**Responsibilities**
+ Move dies from repair area to the production floor/machinery
+ Change out old dies and install dies needed for the next product to be run
+ Support multiple production lines
+ Assist operators with troubleshooting die-related issues, including mechanical and electronic interface issues
+ Perform preventive maintenance (PM) for each die
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanically inclined
+ Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic lines
+ Manufacturing knowledge
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Set-Up Technician experience
+ Process Technician experience

**Work Environment**
Our fast-paced work environment is designed to support career growth and upward mobility. **The facility operates on a 2-2-3 schedule. The shift available is 7am-7pm.** You will need hearing protection, but the noise level is manageable. The facility does have some plastic smell, which is easy to acclimate to.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of **Fort Wayne, Indiana.**
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr.
