As a Services / Methods Engineer, you will ensure the continued airworthiness of Rolls-Royce Business Aviation engines by creating and approving maintenance instructions and inspection criteria. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize maintenance processes, drive improvements, and enhance overall product efficiency and lifecycle cost.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to:
Creation and approval of Instruction of Continued Airworthiness to support maintenance and overhaul for Rolls-Royce Business Aviation enginesValidation of methodologies for effective and sustainable maintenance activities (on-wing/off-wing)Creation and approval of inspection criteria at component and system levelAct as "Compliance Verification Engineer" to support changes to the type designIncorporation of physical and non-physical product changes into Rolls-Royce Instruction for Continued AirworthinessIdentification of potential improvements to increase efficiency in the MRO area and the overall product Life-Cycle-CostWorking closely with internal and external customers like the Chief Engineers, MRO shops and AuthoritiesSupport Investigation of operational issues to develop containment, establish root cause and recommend corrective actionsWho we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to have:
A completed engineering degree in a technical field (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering etc.) Master's degree or PhDExperience as a Compliance Verification Engineer in the CS-E areaMany years of experience in engine assembly, repair and overhaul and experience in dealing with authorities and regulations (EASA Part-21, Part-145, CS-E regulations, etc.)Confident use of MS Office, SAP and Team Center, experience with ASD S1000D and S2000M desirableKnowledge of editorial systems (XML, SGML etc.)Very good written and spoken English skillsCommunication skills and ability to work independentlyWillingness to travel worldwide occasionallyWe are an equal opportunities employer.
