The opportunity

ServiceNow Platform administrator (Senior) Expected joining date Immediate Experience: 3 to 7 years’ experience

 

Your key responsibilities

ServiceNow Platform administration and maintenance activities ServiceNow vendor coordination. Incident Management, Change and Problem Management. Major Incident handling and complex troubleshooting. Develop clear and concise technical & process documentation. Understand new ServiceNow features and unused module functionality to drive platform expansion and adoption. Service operations and escalated support, assisting in the management of the ServiceNow service, including core configuration, user administration, core application administration and service administration and upgrades. Manage the setup, administration and configuration of Field System Support applications and tools. Investigate technical solutions and coordinate with support teams to validate accuracy of the online support documentation.

 

Skills and attributes for success

Have experience in ServiceNow L2 and L3 support or in ServiceNow development. Strong vendor and relationship management skills A strong core production support engineer with a solid background in the UNIX, Windows & Java scripting.  An ‘all-rounder’ with experience and knowledge in a variety of technologies including Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, HTML/CSS, REST Strong knowledge of Web 2.0 Technologies (Java Scripting, XML, HTML, AJAX, Jelly, CSS, PERL scripting) PowerShell Minimum 4+ years of JavaScript experience including usage of jQuery, Bootstrap and AngularJS frameworks. Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience on the below ServiceNow modules (Recommended): Must Have: ITSM, CMDB, Service Portal, CSM, Custom Applications, ServiceNow Family Upgrades, ITIL Foundation Good to have: HRSD, ITOM, Discovery, IRM, SecOps Appreciation, knowledge and experience of competitive industry standard monitoring technologies and solutions would be advantageous. ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator Certified Application Developer Certification            Have excellent oral and written communication skills (English) Be a Self-Starter, highly self-motivated individual with robust decision-making capability. Be delivery focused and used to working within tight deadlines and able to identify problems at an early stage. Be a 'team player' but also able to work autonomously. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Be a structured, methodical thinker with a keen eye for detail. Be confident and able to convincingly structure, summaries, present and challenge thoughts, or ideas. Be appropriately assertive with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills. Excellent business communication skills Education in Information Technology or equivalent working experience Have exposure to working in shifts and on-call support.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

Strong in following technologies (minimum 5+year hands on experience on the below mentioned tech stack).

Java, Java Script RESTful Webservices Angular JS HTML, CSS, SOAP, REST API handling
