SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
The ServiceNow Administrator will play a key role in administering and optimizing the ServiceNow platform while focusing on Discovery activities to establish and maintain a robust and accurate Asset and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in ServiceNow administration, Asset Management, Discovery, and CMDB management, ensuring that configuration data supports operational, compliance, and mission-critical needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Perform day-to-day administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on supporting Asset, CMDB, and Discovery activities
+ Own and manage Enterprise Asset Management services including procurement
+ Configure and manage ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to identify assets, relationships, and dependencies across the Liberty Bank environment
+ Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the CMDB, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment
+ Develop and implement strategies for integrating Discovery data into the CMDB, including CI (Configuration Item) class structures and relationships
+ Monitor Discovery processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize schedules to ensure accurate data collection and minimal system impact
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement CI attributes, relationships, and lifecycle states to align with operational and compliance needs
+ Support ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and other modules by ensuring CMDB data is properly integrated and utilized in workflows
+ Perform routine CMDB audits, reconcile data discrepancies, and maintain data integrity through configuration management best practices
+ Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor CMDB health and provide insights for decision-making
+ Assist in defining and documenting CMDB governance policies, standards, and processes to ensure sustained accuracy and value
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and cybersecurity personnel, to support platform enhancements and compliance efforts
+ Conduct training and provide guidance to end-users and administrators on Asset, CMDB, and Discovery functionalities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration preferred or equivalent work experience.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow System Administrator or similar role, with specific experience in CMDB and Discovery activities
+ Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules, particularly Discovery and Service Mapping is required.
+ ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
+ ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for Discovery or ITOM is highly desirable
+ ITIL certification is a plus
+ Ability to work well within a team environment and independently.
+ Excellent written and oral communications, problem solving, and process management skills.
