**Service Technician** **Job Description** Will be servicing Central KY area installing, troubleshooting, and repairing overhead doors and loading docks for commercial and industrial customers. This will involve traveling in a company truck (will not be driving first 90 days but be able to pass driving check for DOT) to site locations for service. Hours are typically 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM and working at least one Saturday/month (occasional Sunday). **Hard Skills** + Evaluate faulty equipment and perform tasks necessary to ensure proper operation. + Maintain record of all service work and repairs performed within the electronic service record. + Work with Operations Manager to maximize labor revenue and efficiency. + Maintain a clean driving record, and drive safely from customer to customer. + Communicate with the parts and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner. + Perform work in a variety of environments. + Perform other duties as assigned by Operations. **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Environment** + Will be traveling on the road daily and working outside much of the time. + May be on a ladder up to 40 ft. + Physical job lifting up to 100 lbs.
