Service Support Specialist
Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Service Support Specialist to provide leadership and support for the field service team. They organize, schedule, coordinate, purchase, communicate, and lead the efforts of others. This position's main function is to provide timely, cost effective management of multiple projects to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Orders all necessary Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar equipment and/or materials from suppliers, coordinating their timely release and deliveryCoordinates delivery of equipment to job siteProvides status updates to all parties involved throughout the projectCoordinates procedures and documentation with contractors, engineers, customers, owners, utility company, sales staff and service techniciansCreates quotes for both internal & external customersMonitors project costs, coordinates billing, and initiates the invoicing processCoordinates field service projects, requiring the management of outside resources to bring projects in on time and within the budget constraints on the projectAdheres to and helps enforce safety policies both on-and off-site.Communicates project information and updates to the Product Support group and all other necessary partiesWorks in a cooperative manner with team and superiorsProvides support and direction to Field Service TechniciansMeets with customers, contractors, engineers, owners, and Ziegler staff to discuss project requirements and logisticsResponds promptly to phone calls or email requests

Qualifications:

High School degree required; 2-year college degree preferred3 years of experience in Project ManagementStrong electrical and mechanical aptitudeExcellent leadership and communication skillsExperience in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Adobe AcrobatElectrical Aptitude (including ATS, Switchgear, engine control) desiredPersonal Attributes: Customer Focus, Attention to Detail, Leadership Orientation, Conflict Management, Sociability

Travel:

Up to 10% travel
