SERVICE SUPERVISOR

The Service Supervisor provides management and direction of the programs for which they are responsible, as well as clinical oversight and clinical supervision of the direct care staff. The Service Supervisor will assist the Program Manager in meeting clinical guidelines established by the Intensive Behavioral Health Services regulations. The Service Supervisor will work with Behavior Consultant and Program Manager to maintain the program census by completing initial and ongoing assessments necessary for authorization of services. In collaboration with the Program Manager, this position ensures the quality, integrity, safety, and coordination of the program in meeting the needs of the clients, family members, payers, regulatory bodies, and program goals.

Job Duties / Essential Functions

Ensure program contribution margins meet or exceed budgeted figures by ensuring the programs have enough clients to meet the budgeted census and maintain appropriate staffing ratios. Recruit, hire, orient, and train sufficient staff of an appropriate variety of disciplines to provide services and ensure staff training meets annual requirements set by regulatory agencies and state regulations. Ensure program services meet standards established by regulatory agencies, state regulations, and KidsPeace policies. Provide and track on-going clinical supervision and evaluation of staff and service quality in the form of group, individual, and on-site supervision as required by state regulation. Complete client assessments to ensure timely admission of new referrals and to maintain continued stay authorizations for current clients. Use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in order to determine target maladaptive behaviors to decrease and new skills to increase. These are built into effective treatment plans that are objective, measurable, and designed in a strength-based manner.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

Master's Degree in mental health field and Behavior Specialist License or BCBA required. Experience working with a special needs population preferred. Demonstrated management experience in progressively responsible positions, preferably in mental health services. Valid driver's license and First Aide/CPR certifications required. Must be 21 years of age.
