Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the Motion Service Channels sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Motion Service division in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDefining and implementing the national service channel sales strategy, in accordance with the marketing and sales strategy and ensuring regular follow-up to achieve them.•\tImplementing annual performance assessments and forecast processes for channel partners.•\tEnsuring appropriate communication, promotion, and training activities are in place for our channel partners.•\tDesigning the policies and relevant standards (e.g., market segmentation, customer due diligence, cybersecurity) to be used globally for channel partner evaluation and certification.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\t5+ years of Channel sales experience is needed.\tExperience in developing business plans for channels in the mining, F&B, Metals, Water, O&G industries.\tKnowledge of products and services (Motors and drives) is a plus.\tA previous experience working in the service area is desirable.\tAbility to travel.\tProven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.\tAdvanced English is needed.\tBachelor's Degree completed.
