Your role and responsibilities

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily service management ensuring application global availability and functionality, supporting implementation initiatives to new units, optimization, and maintenance of MES solutions across global manufacturing sites. This role ensures that MES systems are effectively integrated into production processes, support operational efficiency, and align with business objectives. The manager serves as a key liaison between IT, operations, and business stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in manufacturing performance through MES. This role is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.You will be mainly accountable for:• Ensure daily support processes are effective and developed according to the business requirements by negotiating, monitoring, and maintaining Service Level and relevant KPIs• Manage the service delivery team: operations, release (co-ordination, implementation and verification of service changes) incident and roll-out support including also external suppliers• Manage system configurations, upgrades, and updates in collaboration with IT teams and vendors.• Act as the primary point of contact between MES users, IT teams, and external vendors. • Gather feedback from manufacturing sites to drive service process enhancements and user satisfaction. • Leverage service data analytics to provide actionable insights on system performance, resource utilization, and quality metrics.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Management, or a related field.Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a global environment, strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Several years of experience in manufacturing operations, MES implementation, or related roles. Strong understanding of global application management processes and managing of off-shore service teams.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems integration, and industrial automation.Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including databases, networks, and cloud solutions. Experience in a global, multi-site manufacturing environment preferred.
