The role
As a Service Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role will be part of a team delivering a service to Babcock’s customers providing this unique capability wherever they need it, globally.
Day-to-day, you’ll report to the Service Management Team Lead and play a pivotal role in supporting the contract to manage and operate Skynet, the UK Ministry of Defence’s military satellite communications system and ground stations.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications for the Service Manager
Project Management Qualification or Project Professional Qualification or equivalent (advantageous). Information Technology Infrastructure Library (advantageous). UK Driving Licence.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
