Service Team Leader

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with execute medium-to-high-complexity service work – installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits – according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB processes, standards and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.The work model for the role is: Onsite #onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification, Service division in Ireland. You will be mainly accountable for:•Perform site installation, testing & commissioning of MV/LV or HV products. •Perform other field service activities including troubleshooting, repairing, maintenance, replacement applications for MV/LV or HV products. •Perform service works according to ABB’s technical, commercial and health & safety standards.•Identifying potential equipment failures and taking corrective actions, troubleshooting complex equipment failures, and making recommendations to avoid the problem in the future. •Perform trainings to customer at site and at ABB facilities. •Prepare the service reports and records that are necessary for the quality of service. •Prepare the tools and equipment that are related to the jobs on the to-do list. •Ensure customer satisfaction during / after deliveries

Qualifications for the role

Qualified Electrician with at least 5 years’ experience of Installation & maintenance MV/LV Switchgear.Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communicationskills.Experience in testing and commissioning of ABB or 3rd party Equipment.Good working knowledge of MV Protection relays.Strong background in Service & Maintenance.Excellent organizational and co-ordination skills with the ability to prioritize and manage peaks in workload.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with ABB employees in a professional manner, both in person andvia telephone, and a strong focus on managing customer relationships.Excellent IT skills (inc. knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel).Clean full driving license.Proficient in spoken and written English.
