Your role and responsibilities

Mission Statement:1.\tExecute Service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard pro-cesses, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service to satisfy cus-tomers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.2.\tDesign a rational service system based on the product sales strategy. Maintain and manage sus-tainable services, including training and management of 3rd Party, to meet agreed upon require-ments for schedule, quality, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction.3.\tDrive service sales process in collaboration with the Service Manager and/or Sales unit. Generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area(s).Main Accountabilities:1.\tService Implementation and SellingDesigns and prepares ABB’s Service offerings based on customer need and in coordination with the sales unit. To provide good quality services continuously, organize sustainable service structure includ-ing management of 3rd Party. Communicates contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. To reach the service sales budget, sells various service (preventive maintenance, commission-ing, spare parts, upgrade proposals, preparing quotations) product portfolio. 2.\tService delivery Plan and performs Service tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment and routine mainte-nance independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site ac-tivity in different Service categories (installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, extensions, replacements etc.). Expertise various products and assist less experienced engineers.3.\tTrouble- shootingTroubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future with overseas factory.4.\tCustomer approachContributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and ex-pectation. Maintains a good relationship with customers. Throughout the service work, Identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally. 5.\tGeneral AdministrationUnderstand Legal request and ABB workflow, execute general administration work such as making con-tract, issuing PO, and Procurement. Coordinates, prepares, and ensures that needed materials, parts, and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities.6.\tDocumentation and reportsCreate needed documents for work such as commissioning manual. Prepares all documents and re-ports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed. Review and manage needed document provided by ABB factory or partner.7.\tHealth, Safety and IntegrityApplies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Qualifications for the role

–\tMust have the capability to work proactively and independently in providing required services to-wards allocated customers and delivering the required sales targets and KPIs.–\tDomestic/International travelling is required. \tDomestic Travelling period: normally few days. In case of the big project, over 1weeks.\tInternational travelling period: normally few weeks.–\tMust have 3+ years of experience in service and sales of electrical equipment, or have official elec-trical licenses.–\tMust be confident to communicate with various parties and people in ABB and be persistent in ob-taining support required for the customers.–\tIntermediate in English and Fluent in Japanese including speaking and technical reading/writing.–\tMust have the driver license–\tMust have standard office application skill.\tWord\t: Make Quotation, Work Procedure\tExcel\t: Use Functions, Data manage, Analysis\tPowerPoint: Make service/training presentation for customer and/or other internal unit
