If you share our bold mindset to be best-in-class, we want you IN. **Your Future Role** + Performs mainly pre-defined, technical tasks for medium voltage variable speed drives (for example, commissioning of products and systems, preventive and reactive maintenance jobs) and work packages on-site and remotely. + Supports customer remotely and onsite and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues. + Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment. + Conducts customer plant and equipment audits to identify effective maintenance and spare parts management strategies. + Adheres to defined processes and applicable regulations. + Ensures own safety as well as that of others + Quality focussed + Zero-harm safety approach + Must be willing to do Standby + Adherence and understanding of EHS Protocols/legislation + ECSA Registration as a Professional Technician (PR Techni) Advantageous + Must be competent in Advanced levels of Microsoft Office Suite in order to draw and write various + types of reports **Your Profile** + National Diploma - Heavy Current Electrical Engineering or equivalent + Relevant experience in the operation and maintenance of medium voltage semiconductors and + variable speed drive equipment + Knowledge of heavy industrial processes in the mining industry + 3-5 years Relevant VSD Experience (Installation, Commissioning and Support) + Must have demonstratable experience in the Commissioning and Service of MV Drives + Experience in various MV Drive Technologies (Advantageous) (Multicell/Cyclo Converters etc) + Must be willing to travel extensively around South Africa and Africa **Ready to power the future with us?
