Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the industry, if you have a passion for excellent service and a friendly attitude, we want you on our team! **At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.** Essential Functions: + Greet all guests warmly within 30 seconds of their arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere. + Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by promoting daily specials and sharing your genuine recommendations and preferences. + Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen. + Efficiently assemble and deliver orders to the appropriate tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Provide prompt and attentive service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. + Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional, swift manner. + Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. + Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly. + Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, chairs, and the dining area. + Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards. **Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.** Required Qualifications: + Customer service experience, especially in food service or retail (training provided for those without prior experience) + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment + Positive attitude and excellent teamwork abilities + Responsible and trustworthy + Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets company standards, along with a clear background check and drug screening. + Full weekend availability ​ Preferred Qualifications: + Previous experience as a server or in a similar role + Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems + Knowledge of food and beverage service best practices + Enthusiasm for lakeside living and the boating lifestyle Working Conditions: + Performs work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, as _The Grill_ features covered outdoor dining areas. + Remains stationary for extended periods of time. + Communicates clearly and effectively with guests to take orders and handle guest needs. + Moves about the restaurant to deliver food to customers and carry out sanitation duties. + Moves up to 25 lbs. The anticipated pay for this position is $2.50 per hour plus tips, which are distributed through a tip pool.
