You’ll serve food and beverages with excellence, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. Key Responsibilities: + Ensure food and beverages are properly displayed and maintained throughout the event to provide a high-quality guest experience. + Open, modify, and close guests' checks using an electronic tablet. + Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. + Serve food and beverages in a timely and gracious manner. + Thoroughly clean and organize the event area after the event, ensuring everything is returned to the catering facility promptly. + Stock, clean, and maintain your assigned location and equipment for smooth operations. + Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu and products available for guests. + Follow safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe work environment. + Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a successful event. Qualifications: + Team player with a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for great service. + Previous food service experience is preferred, especially in high-volume settings. + Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, organized, and detail-oriented. + Ability to remain professional when interacting with high-profile guests, including donors, alumni, and former athletes. + Availability to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center for the 2025-2026 season. + ServSafe Food Handler Certification & Alcohol Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain). + Ability to walk and stand for long hours in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
