About you and this role – Dowhas an exciting opportunity for aSenior Work Activity Coordinatorlocated inDeer Park, TX. This person has the primary responsibility for ensuring the work is carried out safely in an effective and efficient way. This role is responsible for the productivity of the team that performs the task. Responsibilities – + Assigns job resources + Reports the progress of the daily work to enable adjustments to the daily work schedule when needed + Reviews job package and prepares to do the task + Assist the person doing the work in the identification whether the job can be carried out. If the job cannot be carried out, assign other work to the person doing the work + In case that equipment is not prepared for maintenance reassign person doing the work to the next job. + Initiate the work permit procedure + Check if all scheduled job sequences have been completed. + Return equipment to operations. + Check if all the work for the job is done including the paperwork. Close work order. + Reviews work status with service providers and originators and adjusts schedule as required + Assists in allocation of resources for resource leveraging + Performs the role of PUFP (Procedure Use Focal Point) for Maintenance activity. Please refer to the PUFP document contained in the document library. + For Priority Work: Acts as a Planner and follows the Planner Responsibilities + For Unplanned and Planned Work: + Prior to assigning work, reviews the job package to ensure it contains the correct procedure or validates that the task is on the exemption list. + When the job is complete, reviews job package, which contains Procedures / Checklist / Equipment History Form, to ensure they have been filled out correctly. + Removes any forms that should be kept with other plant files. + Coaches’ craftsperson when completed procedures/checklists/equipment repair forms are not filled out correctly. + When coaching has not been effective: escalates issue to Maintenance Group Leader (MGL) and/or Contract Supervisor if procedures are not followed and/or, procedures signoff / checklists/equipment repair forms are not filled out correctly. + Conducts field audits to assure procedures are being used according to the local Maintenance Procedure Use Policy + Communicates specific high impact procedure changes with the Craftspeople in the morning EHS Tailgate meeting. + Ensures all maintenance procedures include a hazard assessment indicating safety, health and environmental considerations and control measures to prevent contact or exposure. + Assure and support Emergency Maintenance Procedure Requirements are being followed by personnel performing the work Qualifications – + High School Diploma or GED as a minimum. + 3 or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance or operations role. + Individual must be willing to take call during the week and on some weekends. + Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel and Word. + Some night or weekend work will be necessary depending upon plant needs. + Valid Driver's License. + A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. Preferred Skills – + Associates degree or higher. + 3 or more maintenance field planning or craft foreman experience. + Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel and Word. Willing and able to meet physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations– + Lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs. + Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting + Stand 50% of the time. + Walk for extended periods of time + Work at heights, climb stairs and ladders. + Work in tight and closed in spaces. + Wear all required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to respirator. + Work in an area of intense or continuous noise. + Work in an area with hazardous materials + This role does involve elevated work greater than or equal to four feet above the ground.
