Senior Warehousing Administrator

The Senior Warehousing Administrator has relevant demonstrated experience in Warehouse Operations and is required to perform their daily tasks under minimal supervision. **What you'll be doing** **Key Responsibilities:** + Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfilment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. + Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. + Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. + Creates documentation relating to stock count processes and may be required to assist with stock counts. + Maintains awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation and adheres to company policies in this regard. + Escalates issues, problems and discrepancies to required levels of management. + Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. + Assists with the resolution of non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members, requiring some judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. + Tasks may involve a small degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. + Ensures that goods received and dispatched are authenticated and accurate records are processed and escalate any discrepancies. **Knowledge and Attributes:** + Familiar with Excel, Word and data entry programs. + Knowledge of various warehouse machinery and equipment. + Displays client commitment and client service orientation. + Good attention to detail. + Good communication and organization skills. + Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations. + Good listening skills with the ability to follow instructions. **Academic Qualifications and Certifications:** + High School Certification or equivalent qualification. + FLT driver license is desirable. + Relevant Warehousing certification essential. **Required Experience:** + Demonstrated experience gained in a similar role. + Demonstrated experience operating warehouse equipment is desirable. **Workplace type** **:** On-site Working **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
