**About the role:**
As the **Warehouse and Logistics Specialist** you are an integral member of the Operations team and will collaborate across the organization to deliver excellent service to our customers. Key partners include customer service, supply chain, warehouse and finance. You will be responsible for reconciling the WMS to ensure accuracy in inventory control and shipments. This includes maintenance and validation as it relates to on hand stock. You will have a strong ERP (SAP and JDE) to understand and resolve reconciliation issues by engaging the necessary stakeholders to determine the root cause. You will utilize your strong ERP knowledge to develop best practices to utilize the systems to drive continuous improvement. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the role will sit at our 3PL warehouse located in Mississauga, ON.
**Key Responsibilities will include:**
+ Investigate, complete root cause analysis to validate inventory balances and transactions to ensure timely resolution of receipt discrepancies.
+ Adjustments can include, but are not limited to customer returns, carrier returns, inbound damage, and receipt discrepancies.
+ Generate a daily inventory reconciliation discrepancy report (SAP and JDE Comparison to WMS). Complete inventory reconciliation to remediate inventory discrepancies.
+ Complete daily reconciliation of shipments between SAP and JDE and WMS to ensure packing slip and BOLs are correct.
+ Ensure ASNs are created in JDE by placing inbound POs in transit.
+ Manage scrap, samples and spare parts inventory in SAP and WMS.
+ Assist with gathering data for inventory control reports to assist in appropriate corrective actions.
+ Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all inventory adjustments.
+ Resolve and troubleshoot WMS, SAP, JDE issues related to Operations to avoid disruptions in shipping, receiving and inventory control.
+ May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
**About you:**
To be successful in this role, you require:
+ Strong knowledge of domestic logistics operations and regulatory frameworks in North America
+ Excellent problem resolution skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize
+ Excellent organizational, communication and process management skills
+ Technical skills: Proficient in SAP and JDE and Microsoft Excel. PowerBI experience is a plus.
+ Open and willing to learn and master many ERP systems including JDE, Great Pains, SAP Everest, SAP Tahiti.
+ Strong understanding of inventory flow from places purchase orders to shipping to customers.
+ Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
**Education and experience required:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or relevant field
+ 5+ relevant experience in a similar warehouse and logistics role.
+ SAP experience is a must.
+ Strong outbound support, inbound backup, with drive for Continuous Improvement
+ APICS certification preferred.
