**Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary SVP, Scientific Director to partner in the development, evolution, and execution of medical content delivery across multiple therapeutic areas.
This senior leader will serve three key functions:
+ A strategic content architect and hands-on scientific strategist—owning content delivery for one therapeutic area while overseeing two others.
+ A key driver of our Content Excellence Transformation (CET) process for Medical Affairs, playing a dual role:
+ Delivering scientific content today
+ Shaping and optimizing how we work tomorrow
**Responsibilities**
1. **Scientific/Medical Strategy**
+ Lead the development of content briefs that align with brand strategy, scientific narrative, and engagement objectives.
+ Modernize the scientific content used to inform, engage, and activate healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
1. **Content Creation & Execution**
+ Deliver high-quality, scientifically rigorous content aligned to CET workflows for one core therapeutic area.
+ Oversee end-to-end content development, from strategic brief through delivery, including stakeholder alignment and review.
+ Ensure all content meets the highest standards of scientific integrity, relevance, and regulatory compliance.
1. **Therapeutic Area Oversight**
+ Oversee content strategy and execution initially across three therapeutic areas: Multiple Myeloma (MM), Schizophrenia, and Dermatology/Rheumatology.
+ Directly lead content delivery for one therapeutic area, while managing and guiding teams supporting the others.
+ Ensure scientific consistency, strategic alignment, and compliance across all medical content touchpoints.
1. **Scientific Content Strategy & Process Innovation**
+ Partner with cross-functional leadership to implement a modernized content workflow, balancing speed, quality, and scientific integrity.
+ Serve as the scientific lead in defining, building, and scaling the CET process for medical content creation and delivery.
+ Act as a change agent, bringing innovation and structure to how scientific content is conceived, briefed, created, and deployed.
**Qualifications**
+ Advanced degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent in a relevant scientific field).
+ 12+ years of experience in medical communications, pharmaceutical marketing, or scientific content leadership.
+ Proven ability to lead both strategy and execution in complex, matrixed environments.
+ Deep understanding of medical, regulatory, and scientific review processes.
+ Strong experience in multiple therapeutic areas; hematology/oncology, CNS, and immunology preferred.
+ Experience implementing or leading large-scale content operations or transformation initiatives a strong plus.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for scientific storytelling and clarity.

Compensation Range: $176,700 - $263,655 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
