The Role

The Senior Vendor Sales Manager is pivotal in driving growth through strategic vendor relations, enhancing the sales process, and fostering robust business development. This role involves cultivating a strong vendor pipeline, essential for attracting new business and partnerships to the Channel Gate platform. You will be responsible for identifying and targeting ideal clients/vendors to effectively fill the sales funnel with qualified accounts, closing deals, and ensuring the swift achievement of sales and development targets while maintaining excellent vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for overseeing effective vendor onboarding to set them up for success.

What You’ll Do

Drive Sales & Source New Vendors:

Implement sales strategies to achieve business targets, and actively engage in industry events for lead generation.Source new vendors that strategically align with new business channels or needs.Engage with prospects in new categories to expand our portfolio.Collaborate with Marketing on category target development; ensure targets provided are clear and attainable. Forecasts, sets objectives, anticipates, structures tasks and establishes priorities.Provide feedback to our Product and support teams to further enhance and strengthen our industry position of our products and services.

New Vendor Onboarding & Acceleration:

Drive revenue with new accounts ensuring optimal setup and strong performance from Day One.Utilize digital tools and software for lead generation, market research, and client engagement.Transition management from the time a vendor is on-boarded to fully rampedAct as the conduit between our data insights and sales targets by maintaining information in our CRM.Build a strong product knowledge to cater to each prospect by getting to know their needs.

People Management:

Build and maintain a high-performing team by fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Provide day to day leadership of direct reports including 1:1’s, coaching sessions, mentorship, performance reviews, recruitment & orientation of new team members in order to maximize performance and team development. Manage team resources, including staffing and budgets, ensuring optimal allocation to support business objectives.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop team growth plans, strategies, and roadmaps.Responsible for leading project planning and delivery.

Compensation 
We are committed to transparency in our hiring process. The Salary Range for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000 depending on experience, skills, training and organizational needs. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.
