The Sr. Union Payroll Coordinator is assigned to work with the Controller and Union Payroll Specialist to perform tasks for Payroll, HR and Accounting department. This position will report to the Controller.
Payroll Related:
· Work Closely with project teams to support the processing of union payroll, ensuring receipt of timesheets and batch coversheet from each jobsite, confirming all field work hours for each union craft employee has been uploaded.
· Comply with company’s internal controls by auditing for appropriate timecard approvals and confirming employee signature on all weekly timesheets.
· Sort payroll checks for jobsites and prepare for shipment to field.
· Coordinate and process any missed time, paychecks or time transfers.
· Manage field personnel documentation workflow from new hire to field promotion or rate changes to termination, by coordinating with project teams and/or completing necessary forms, auditing for compliance and completeness, and distribution or submission to HR and/ or Union as required.
· Administer personnel set up in JDE, including Union Code assignment, Job Type and Job Step (per the TPC Union Master Rate Sheet).
· Timely compliance reporting including but not limited to weekly OCIP/CCIP, Certified Payroll and Workers Comp reporting.
· Administer the various payroll related tables such as Service Billing, Project Rate and Union benefit rates table, including annual union agreement updates.
· Collaboratively manage the Payroll Email inbox to ensure all emails and requests are responded to promptly.
· Document Management of all payroll documentation as
· Process Safety Dollars for distribution.
· Other duties, as needed.
Accounting related:
· Reconcile payroll related GL accounts, resolve reconciling items and post any journals related to the reconciliation.
· Prepare and route documents for signature in SignNow.
· Maintain and update the Corporate Finance calendar for distribution.
· Document management of Payroll related account reconciliations to various folders as well as responding to document retrieval requests for all types of audits, legal, etc.
· Post updated documents to intranet (InsideRS).
· Other duties, as needed.

Computer Equipment and Software
· Intermediate proficiency in all MS Office applications.
· Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One software or any integrated accounting system helpful.
· Experience with SignNow and collaboration applications are helpful.
Education and Experience
· 2+ years of experience in payroll or accounting.
· Previous construction or union experience is preferred.
· Associate degree preferred
