The ideal candidate is someone who’s an excited learner, strong self-starter, and willing to teach and collaborate with the team. Responsibilities:

Underwrite and Thrive: Profitably underwrite new lines and renewals.  Drive Financial Performance: Maximize profit, growth, rate optimization, retention, and cross-sell opportunities for Life Science accounts. Be the Expert: Solicit accounts, analyze risks, price coverage, and sell industry-specific products and services to new and existing customers. Navigate Multiple Lines: Manage commercial package, product liability, automobile, umbrella, workers compensation, and international lines.

Master the Craft: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of commercial underwriting with a keen ability to analyze risks, strategize underwriting approaches, prioritize data gathering, and communicate your well-thought-out plans effectively. Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (e.g. STEM, Biology, or Lab work is a plus)  Multi-line or Life Sciences products underwriting experience is preferred
