Trust and Company Administrator, Private Clients
Location: Guernsey
Schedule: Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week

As a Trust and Company Administrator within the Private Clients team, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of a portfolio of companies and trusts. You will ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with Client Services Agreements and in compliance with relevant Guernsey regulations and laws.

Some of the things you will be doing:

Assist in the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trusts and companies. Maintain client files and ensure accurate documentation, including drafting Minutes and Meeting Notes with an appropriate level of detail. Support the fee collection process and assist with debtor management. Liaise with lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, and banks on administrative matters related to private client cases. Assist in addressing compliance review points as directed by the Assistant Manager/Manager. Work closely with the Accounts team to ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely preparation of annual accounts. Ensure all assigned administration tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes, including payment processing. Maintain effective communication within the team and management. Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact clients. Follow team procedures and escalate any concerns or suggestions for process improvements. Assist with annual tax filings, AEOI reporting, and other regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with deadlines.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need:

Strong organisational and time management skills, with a commitment to providing excellent client service. Prior experience in regulated finance or professional services is desirable. Willingness to work towards professional qualifications such as STEP, ICSA, or similar. A sound educational background, such as A Level/Baccalaureate or equivalent, with GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics. A proactive approach to learning and development, making use of available resources. Competent IT skills with an ability to adapt to new systems.
