Senior Transition Manager

IFF is a global leader in food, beverage, health, biosciences and sensorial experiences. We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Finance Shared Services Team as Senior Transition Manager

As a Transition Manager, your primary responsibilities will include supporting the development of transition strategy and effectively transition new services to Finance Shared Services and provide support to the service delivery teams for smooth transition. You are accountable for all Finance Shared Services Migration, Service Transition Strategy and responsible for delivering the Global Finance Migration Roadmap to the Shared Services.
The role will report to Head – Hyderabad GBS.

How you will contribute

Support development of transition strategy for Finance Services or any relevant project based on requirement and need.Deliver agreed Service Transition Projects and Programmes in line with recognised best practice methodology (managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting), where the successful implementation of service resource skills and processes are just as critical to project success as technology, compliance, and mitigation of financial and delivery risk.Set up transition plan and assignment of resources.Implement best practices for transition planning and Transition Management.Co-ordinate the management of milestones, actions, issues, risks and decisions of the transition activities.Ensure that all areas of Finance Operations are ready for transition of new services/solutions.Oversee the stabilisation period quality measures and ensure projects are not closed until these have been met.Engage fully with project managers responsible for delivery and drive through the Operations Gateway.Manage communications with all stakeholders to ensure an effective handover of new/changed Services into production/operations environment and the internal and external stakeholders.To ensure trainings happen wherever applicable.To interface with 3rd party suppliers, involving agreement, planning, timelines, and quality of deliverables.Ensure strict commercial/ scope change control to manage any deviations.Adhere to relevant escalation processes to escalate resource issues, delayed project phases, missed deadlines and other planning issues.Manage the agreed Service Transition budgets, ensuring all costs are recorded against products and services delivered.Work closely with Financial Risk and compliance team, Internal Audit and Regional/ Country teams to ensure Operations Gateway is followed.Manage interdependencies and escalate in case of delays in time line or budgets.Review the outcomes of each Transition Projects and apply lessons learned to ongoing and future projects within the Programme.

What will you need to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree with rich experience in project/ transition management in Shared Service Centre or related field.PMP certification and Lean Six Sigma are a plus.Minimum 5+ years of transition management or project management experience.Change facilitation skills.Ability to work across multiple departments and develop excellent working relationship with internal and external clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
