Your core duties will be to manage the Corporate Banking Trade and working capital business as a transactor by driving product implementations and sales through a defined Trade and working capital plan.

Are you someone who:

Manage product development projects from business case to final execution. Influence product development priorities based on strong business cases.

Assess existing product set to identify and document product gaps and ensure that existing product set is relevant to the market and meets customer requirements.

Understand the new product commercialization roadmap and strategic innovations taking place across the bank.

Be the liaison between the relevant GPOs, operations, legal, compliance and pricing.

Understand traditional and non-traditional competitor offerings and strategies.

Establish and manage product targets, budgets and profitability.

Understand the new product commercialization roadmap and strategic innovations taking place across the bank.

Understand the market sectors and trends within these sectors.

Network with in-country Relationship Managers, Global Markets sales and RMB SA teams to identify potential clients.

Manage and quantify the Trade and working capital deal pipeline.

Performing client needs analysis to understand client’s business & processes, size of client’s business, banking needs and key strategy.

Identify and implement international best practices.

Respond to complex solicited and unsolicited requests for proposals (RFPs) and proposals using professional, high-quality presentations and proposals.

Create end-to-end value propositions that include current and new product and solution sets, pricing, service and channel delivery model that meet current and anticipated future client needs.

Provide input and guidance on pricing as part of the solution.

Design integrated Transactional Banking, Trade and Working Capital and Global Markets solutions and achieve increased market share, share of wallet and revenue diversification.

Project manage the on-boarding of clients in conjunction with the relationship management, product and service teams.

Manage the solution design, client engagement and client interface using project management disciplines.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue and listen, advise, influence and negotiate.

Initiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress, manage expectations and ensure stakeholders’ needs are met.

Proactively communicate and share information with stakeholders and encourage discussion and debate (share successes and highlight challenges).

Anticipate and manage conflict, demonstrating an ability to resolve differences, particularly where these may be stalling the implementation of agreed plans.

Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.

Make an effort to stay relevant and up to date with relevant new developments in the banking industry.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

Relevant Degree

Good knowledge in credit procedures, monitoring and financial analysis

Product knowledge: lending, Treasury and Trade

Demonstrated ability in sales and negotiations

Knowledge in risk management

Knowledgeable in Trade Transactions and associated process

Strong Credit skills will be an added advantage

A proven track record in trade and working capital solution

Analytical skills for preparing credit applications
