Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges.  Fleet Deployment Training Program Support (FDTPS) team is seeking a Senior Training SME to support this vital program with positions available in the Tidewater area, VA, San Diego, CA, Mayport, FL and Everett, WA. 

The FDTPS team provides dynamic, quality afloat training to Navy and Marine Corps personnel to ensure a combat ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special emphasis is placed on training Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups and Amphibious Squadrons staffs and their supporting forces prior to a deployment to ensure they are combat ready.

Duties include:

Subject matter expert for respective task requirements (e.g. Academics, Warfare Area(s), Program or Policy support)Training managerDeveloping training curriculumsConducting fleet/ joint training assessments to identify gaps, training needs and solutionsDelivering training in person and/or onlineDeveloping and modifying training event/exercise scenariosManaging training projectsTeam and/or project leaderDesigning custom training to meet training objectivesPublic speaker and presentation skillsEngaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer/Director/Manager levelHandling multiple priorities and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverablesPerform duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's of Science Degree 8 years relevant experience (10 years if no Bachelor’s degree)Specific warfare area knowledge required for different positions such as Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Ballistic Missile Defense, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Surface Warfare, Information Operations and Information Warfare, Intelligence, Strike Warfare, Maritime Security Operations, Electronic Warfare, Cyber Warfare, Knowledge Management, Space Operations, Amphibious Warfare and Expeditionary Warfare.
