Senior Tools Programmer - Sanzaru
**Summary:** Oculus Studios and Sanzaru Games has an immediate Tools Programmer position working to support artists create content on virtual reality games. Sanzaru continues to push the boundaries of interactive entertainment and technology on all fronts. **Required Skills:** Senior Tools Programmer - Sanzaru Responsibilities: 1. Build Unreal Editor Tools designed to aid Artists in developing their content and enhancing their workflows. 2. Supporting Artists and Designers to rapidly prototype tools aiding in mesh creation and gameplay setup. 3. Supporting generalized art workflow tools in applications such as Houdini. 4. Aiding in triage of performance and visual issues to artist or rendering engineering teams. 5. Thinking creatively and critically to expand user experiences into new virtual reality medium. 6. Working closely with engineers and designers to contribute on game architecture and technical design. 7. Capacity to identify opportunities for workflow improvement and generate tools to accomplish them.. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 8. At least 6 years of game industry experience 9. Experienced developing tools for a shipped Console, PC or VR game 10. C++ Proficiency 11. Proven history profiling game performance on large scale projects. 12. Experience developing with Unreal Engine 13. Proven experience extending large project code basis to facilitate tools 14. Proven experience collaborating with large teams containing multiple art and design disciplines. 15. BS Computer Science or equivalent experience **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 16. Experience shipping a VR title 17. Experience working with Houdini 18. Proven history developing impactful tools to improve artist workflow in Unreal 19.
