Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.

HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to 56.000 m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP’s.

Job Description

1/ Create test plan for New Line, Test MAE/Product releases, Engineering risk assessments, Problem solving in production, Development projects and evaluate test results/generate test report according to the criteria in test plan

2/ Execute standard tests/special customized tests by ensuring correct test settings and take ownership by proactively following up to meet timeline. Support test bench release work packages –FAT, SAT, Validation, safe launch (if any)

3/ Take lead of/ involve in Problem Solving regarding product testing and test rig' issues

4/ COPE (Center of Push belt Excellence) - transition push belt business TbP --> HcP: develop/ transfer knowledge/ experience Test methods/ equipment.

5/ Review test engineering content in test reports, test data log file analysis, test settings etc. and train less experienced peer engineers within the group

6/ Test Responsible Engineer for Application projects

Qualifications

1. Education

Master's or bachelor's degree from renowned university in Mechanical or Industrial or Automotive or Mechatronics engineering

2. Work experience

2 to 3 (Master's degree) or ≥ 4 (bachelor's degree) years of exp. in engineering/quality - product validation functions at a production planHands on experience with dedicated test equipment would be an advantageTechnical knowledge in Mechanical/Automotive domain & working knowledge/experience in hydraulics, control systems, dynamics, measurement methods, data acquisition and analyzing

3. Traits and Skills

Technical knowledge (measurement methods, data acquisition and analysing)Independent working with dedicated test equipmentsKnowledge of production technologyEnglish language profficiency (Written & Spoken)Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, team player, learning by doing
