Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct testing and verification activities for assignments of systems, subsystems, or products effectively and cost-efficiently. Each day, you will provide technical support during the installation of test objects in the test area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing project test documentation. The work model for the role is #LI- Onsite.This role is contributing to the Our Electrification Business ,Bengaluru, India.You will be mainly accountable for:• Providing testing and assessment services according to product standards like IS/ IEC60947( Part - 2,3,4,5)• Knowledge on Product short circuit testing.• Participating in test equipment failure analysis and maintenance.• Studying updated product standards and prepared new test methods.• Preparing or designing testing fixtures or jigs for efficiency improvement.• Performing other related duties as assigned or indicated by superiors.

Qualifications for the role

Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in testing in relevant field. Experience in certification and be familiar with the certification process of low-voltage electrical products Good knowledge and understanding of SLD’s and BIS/ certification. Good knowledge and understanding of the application of electronic and electrical products like ACB, MCCB, Contactors and SFU etc.
