About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineering candidate with extensive expertise in quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing test automation frameworks from scratch, working independently, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role requires strong programming skills, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence two days per week at our Atlantic office. This arrangement is subject to change at any time.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement test automation frameworks for web, service (API), and enterprise integrations.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, and TOSCA.
• Collaborate with development teams to adopt Agile methodologies and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Build and manage Continuous Development, Integration, Testing, and Deployment pipelines using DevOps tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Develop and enforce Quality Assurance processes and standards to ensure product reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new technologies like MoveIt, Kafka, and integration services.
• Perform hands-on testing of APIs and other application patterns while ensuring best practices in test coverage.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through presentations and reports.
Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Proven expertise in creating and managing test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Versatile experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, and TOSCA.
• Strong programming skills in Java (preferred), Python, or .NET.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and BDD practices.
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and ADO.
• Experience in developing and implementing QA processes and standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with tools and technologies such as MoveIt, Kafka, Apigee, and Boomi integration services.
• Knowledge or experience in enterprise integrations or application development.
• Familiarity with testing APIs and various application patterns.
• Retail domain experience is a plus.
• Experience setting strategies for a test automation practice or Center of Excellence (CoE).
