Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Senior Territory Business Manager is responsible for territory sales and dealer activities. Responsible for selling Sharp Copier and Imaging Systems line through dealers and attaining assigned quota by dealer visitation, sales training, market coverage, product information, communicating with dealer community, monitoring dealer performance, and competitive product information.
This position will cover the following territories: Seattle, Denver, Montana, Alaska, Colorado
ResponsibilitiesWork with the VP or Director of Sales to ensure adequate coverage in assigned markets by building relationships with assigned dealers and prospectsAccurate forecasting of monthly salesDevelop and maintain relationships with assigned dealers and major accountsEffective communication of Sharp programs and promotions to dealersTrain dealers’ sales representatives on the features, advantages, and benefits of the entire Sharp product line-upManage dealer performance to expectations including:Grow revenue to exceed assigned targetsGrow market share to company-defined expectationsGrow the number of sales representatives actively selling Sharp productsActively market and sell within the assigned territory Manage the timeline and travel of Sharp team membors to support sales and training activitiesEnsure dealers’ service, technical, and specialist resources maintain training and certificationsOn an ongoing basis, continue to keep up with technical knowledge to support dealersFunction as the main contact/quarterback for assigned dealersTimely resolution to dealer/major account issuesManage to expense expectations and budgetsWork with dealers in all areas of their business, including purchase planning, credit lines, inventory management, marketing promotions, and product launches Qualifications Bachelor's degree is preferredMinimum 5 years’ experience in selling Copier and Imaging Systems documents through the dealer channelStrong leadership skills is requiredProject Management Skills is also essentialConsistently performs over assigned budgetsShould have good knowledge of sales, service, and administrative functionsGood written and oral communication skillsUp to 80% territory travel required.We are open to considering candidates who reside within one of the covered territories, provided they are within a commutable distance to a major airport
Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $70,900-$105,00. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
