**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking a **Senior Technology Systems Engineer & Deputy Manager** to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of **Mississauga.** We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
**Major Responsibilities:**
Supports the Manager of Facilities Systems Engineering in leading and managing team efforts to achieve business objectives by:
+ Prioritizing and distributing team tasks while managing workload efficiently.
+ Overseeing and coordinating design and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, regulations, and client-specific requirements, including the Airport Construction Code.
+ Ensuring timely completion of quality reviews for renovations, alterations, maintenance, and new construction projects in alignment with program requirements.
+ Providing technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
+ Collaborating with and delivering high-level customer service to the Planning & Engineering, Capital Delivery, and Commercial Activation teams, as well as key stakeholders such as Operations and Maintenance teams.
+ Reviewing, documenting, and enhancing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and maximize team performance.
+ Developing pilot projects and funding proposals for innovative technologies and methodologies in control systems design and construction to reduce construction timelines and operational disruptions at Pearson Airport.
+ Coordinating SME assessments, as well as reviewing and updating standards and specifications.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:
+ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or a related engineering field + 6 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure programs in a control systems engineering role, including experience in a management or leadership position.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
**Preferred Requirements:**
+ A relevant professional designation is considered an asset.
+ 15 years of professional experience in large-scale infrastructure programs in a control systems engineering role, including 5 years in a management or leadership position.
+ Aviation industry experience preferred.
+ Proven ability to lead and manage teams, including assessing and developing team competencies.
+ Expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) control systems is required.
+ Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, electronic documentation management systems, contract terms and conditions, and contract management.
+ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and workshops involving large groups of stakeholders.
+ Strong technical expertise across all project phases, with the ability to solve complex problems using data analytics to support decision-making.
+ Proven experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and providing strategic-level reporting to support effective decision-making.
**Additional Information**
This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $115,000.00 - $140,000.00.
