Job Description:
The Senior Technology Consultant Infrastructure Automation provides technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams and is responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure customer satisfaction.
How you will make your mark:
Responsible for verifying and implementing technical solutions to business problems as defined by the projects.
Often responsible for delivering design documentation.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages for consistent and efficient provisioning and configuration.
Provide advanced technical consulting and advice to others on proposal efforts, solution design, system management, tuning and modification of solutions.
Develop customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies.
Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often need to develop new methods to apply to the situation.
Develop Proof of Concepts and reusable solutions to leverage within projects and during pursuits
Be a part of a technical community – contribute to knowledge-sharing and assist with coaching and onboarding of junior team members.
About you:
6-10 years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
Proficiency in Ansible, including working with/creating playbooks, roles, modules, and templates.
Good skills in Linux, Bash
Good scripting skills with Python or similar considered as advantage
Ability to further develop existing solutions that enhance the availability, performance, maintainability and agility of a particular customer's enterprise.
Hands-on or administrator experience with data center technologies such as Servers, Storage (SAN) and Backup technologies
Ability to work in a multi- technology environment with the ability to diagnose complex technical problems to their root cause
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions
Experience with HPEs server and storage portfolio is considered strong advantage
RedHat Certification is considered an advantage
Morpheus knowledge is considered an advantage
Fluent in English, German is a strong advantage
