Senior Technical Sales Specialist

Position Overview
The AEC Technical Sales Specialist will focus on Infrastructure (Rail and Roads) solutions and will be based in Mexico City. This role involves partnering with Autodesk sales teams and authorized resellers to develop, manage, and execute strategies for closing business. The specialist will report to the Mexico Technical Sales Manager and will cover the territory focused on Mexico City, with travel required throughout the country.
 

Responsibilities

Perform in-depth assessments of customer processes to uncover and understand their business challengesUtilize knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry changes to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvementCapture metrics for quantifying and justifying the customer's return on investment (ROI) for technical closureWork with Autodesk partners to ensure the adoption of proposed Autodesk solutionsPosition and sell Autodesk's unique business values in sales situations against other vendors through presentations, demonstrations, and discussionsInfluence product development and direction through customer feedback and identified business opportunitiesPartner with sales representatives to help develop, manage, and execute strategiesSupport the success of Autodesk resellers by mentoring reseller personnel on technical sales activities and executionParticipate in company-sponsored events and tradeshows to promote Autodesk's solutions and the customer business challenges they targetDiscover customer business and technical processes/workflows/requirements to build a "trusted partner" relationship in supporting customers in their digital transformation journeyManage the entire technical evaluation process, from qualification through to post-sales handovers, including value-focused demos, pilots, RFP submissions, roadmap presentations, and customer outcome proposalsDocument customer engagements in Salesforce, including quantifiable pain points, technical decision criteria, metrics, and risksLead and present all technical sales aspects of an Autodesk sales cycle
 

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years' experience in the Infrastructure (Rail and Roads) industryCivil Engineering bachelor's degree from a recognized institute or equivalent work experienceKnowledge of Autodesk AEC Infrastructure Solutions (Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Recap, BIM Collaborate Pro, and Infraworks)AWP and BIM knowledge – concept, benefits, ROI, implementationNative in Spanish languageEnglish proficiencyAble to travel up to 75%
 

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the MEP Building industryKnowledge of BIM & GIS IntegrationKnowledge of Autodesk AEC solutions (Navisworks, ACC, Collaborate PRO, Revit, Dynamo, Infodrainage, Infoworks ICM)Knowledge of competitor's construction/infrastructure and building softwarePrevious experience with sales or pre-sales
 

Additional Information

We support hybrid work, and you will be expected to live in Mexico City or nearby cities.No relocation support will be provided for this position.
