Growing together.** **Primary Responsibilities:** + Develop a comprehensive project management plan, alongside necessary documentation, and provide clear executive-level updates + Analyze project scope and establish structured milestones and deadlines + Work to create synergistic systems and processes, enforcing standards and methods consistently across the enterprise + Analyze project scope and establish structured milestones and deadlines + Clearly define the project's critical path and establish success benchmarks + Implement and manage project changes as necessary + Identify, mitigate, and escalate issues and risks as necessary + Utilize KPIs and metrics to report on project progress and performance + Cultivate deep business and technology relationships, ensuring all team members have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively + Organize and participate in customer meetings, bringing together all business stakeholders to meet customer demands + Coordinate the team throughout all project management phases by leading regular stand-ups and meetings + Develop solid working knowledge of the industry, customers, and technology trends; leverage this information to support the continuous improvement of future project implementation efforts + Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field + 10+ years of progressive work experience, directly related to project & product delivery roles + 10+ years of direct experience supporting project management workstreams, such as planning, requirements, development, testing, and deployment + 10+ years of experience managing various project management methodologies, such as system development life cycle concepts, waterfall, and agile methodologies + Understand, determine, and communicate the project's critical path + Solid proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and an ability to easily learn and adopt new technology tools + Proven success in mentoring or developing others to create an environment of success; influencing a team of indirect reports without authority + Demonstrated ability to understand business objectives and translate into practical project plans and project deliverables with a customer-focused approach _At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
