You will leverage the latest technologies and focus on empowering Microsoft employees with the tools and services that define both the physical and digital future of work.    The Microsoft Enterprise Systems & Infrastructure Venture Integration (MEVI) team leads the technical integration of newly acquired companies into the Microsoft ecosystem. We ensure seamless integration of acquired companies' people, operations, and systems into Microsoft's IT platforms, tools, and services, without disrupting business operations. The MEVI team thrives in a dynamic environment, working across organizational boundaries to drive growth and innovation within Microsoft's core businesses. We are seeking a **Senior Technical Program Manager** to join our team. This role involves setting strategy and managing the integration of acquired businesses from an enterprise systems and technology infrastructure standpoint. The position requires collaboration with various Engineering, Business, and IT groups, as well as the target companies, both pre- and post-acquisition. In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. **Responsibilities** + **Integration management:** Responsible for driving key IT M&A scope areas on acquisitions/ divestitures with various programmatic and technical integration strategies, detailed planning and co-ordination activities across various partnering teams, organizing partnering teams within a project management office. You will also contribute to the team practice, operations and core priorities. + **Technical Strategy & Plans:** Establish and/or mature various technical integration strategies with various partnering engineering teams, create and maintain baseline artifacts, processes, engagement model and ways of working through a collaborative and iterative mindset.   + **Technology Roadmap:** Interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels to future technical roadmaps. Influence and lead high-functioning program management and development teams responsible for critical-path services and tools.  + **Project management** : Oversee and drive integration and/or divestiture IT projects from inception to delivery. This includes defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. + **Developing complex analysis, planning and solution options:** Bring together pertinent stakeholders, building consensus, to draft and articulate complex systems and IT infrastructure topics, including integration approaches, points of view, solutions options and roadmaps, present and get buy in from executive stakeholders, and can communicate with a broad set of IT and business stakeholders. + **Other:** Embody our culture and values **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience. + 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. + 4+ years of experience in implementation, deployment, consulting and/or sustaining enterprise IT solutions. + 4+ years of experience managing IT projects in a matrix organization. + Experience managing programs with visibility and reporting to senior leaderssuch as Director, General Manager, Vice President or similar. **Other Requirements:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: + **Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience. + 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. + 6+ years of experience in M&A in industry and/or large-scale IT integrations. + Exposure to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) management tools and methodologies, IT Program and release management tools (e.g. Azure Dev Ops or similar), Industry compliance and certifications (e.g. SOX, ISO27001), IT Service Management frameworks, etc. Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
